Blogging Month in Review: May 2023

May was a sufficiently productive blogging month. This is largely due to an improvement in my employment situation, which enables me to use my free time more constructively (as I define it). Here's to an even better June.

  1. Theoretical Swashbuckling: 5 articles
  2. Applied Phantasticality: 3 articles
  3. Omnia Pro Omnibus: 2 articles
  4. Creative Reckoning: 1 article
  5. Decidedly Six-Sided: 1 article
  6. Savage Arts & Sciences: 1 article

Blogging Month in Review: April 2023

All things considered, it was not a bad blogging month.

I intended to leave it at that, but I suppose I ought to mention I started a sixth gaming blog, and I probably ought to include it here in the monthly blogging roundup. Omnia Pro Omnibus is the official blog for my new role-playing game, Omnia. I still need to publish the rules, so the blog will likely remain sparse until then. Please bear with me.

I hope you enjoyed Random Generator Month in Applied Phantasticality.

April is Autism Acceptance Month. Autism is acceptable every month of the year. It is never too late to learn something new. Some good places to start are Paul Micallef's YouTube channel, Autism from the Inside, and Barry M. Prizant's book, Uniquely Human (as well as Uniquely Human: The Podcast).

Peace.

Blogging Month in Review: March 2023

March surpassed February by one article, and I forgot to post anything about GM Appreciation Day. I guess I wasn't feeling up to it. Regretfully, I've had other things on my mind. Although I don't have the liberty to put those things out of my mind, at least April will be another productive month bloggingwise, thanks to Random Generator Month (a holiday created and solely observed by me).

Be seeing you...

  3. Creative Reckoning: 2 articles

28 February 2023

Blogging Month in Review: February 2023

The second month of the year (in the span of four days) has yielded two articles per blog, although half of that output was admittedly a single article I posted to each of them promoting the Year 4 Kickstarter project for Accessible Gaming Quarterly. The campaign concludes on 9 March 2023, and I urge you to consider joining me in becoming a backer.

And now I shall think about what to do for GM Appreciation Day (or Dungeon Day as some are now calling it).

Be seeing you...

  1. Creative Reckoning: 2 articles

  3. Decidedly Six-Sided: 2 articles

Blogging Month in Review: January 2023

This was not a bad start for the year. Despite the increased demands on my time caused by my change in employment, I somehow exceeded my blogging quota by an impressive margin. Just think how much more I could accomplish if I were independently wealthy...

One can dream.

  1. Applied Phantasticality: 5 articles
  2. Savage Arts & Sciences: 3 articles
  3. Decidedly Six-Sided: 2 articles
  4. Creative Reckoning: 1 article
  5. Theoretical Swashbuckling: 1 article

31 December 2022

Blogging Year in Review: 2022

At 126 articles, I exceeded last year's grand total by 31 articles and my yearly goal by 66 articles. In terms of individual blog output, Applied Phantasticality increased by 24, Theoretical Swashbuckling increased by nine, Creative Reckoning increased by one, Savage Arts & Sciences remained steady, and Decidedly Six-Sided decreased by six. Alas, I failed to create and publish even one RPG zine. Nonetheless, I am etching it once again on the Great Stone of Challenge in addition to my standard goal:

In 2023, I, Gordon A. Cooper, will post a minimum of one article per gaming blog per month for a minimum total of five articles per month. In addition, I might create and publish one or more RPG zines. (No pressure.)

Here is my total gaming blog output for 2022:

  1. Applied Phantasticality: 55 articles
  2. Theoretical Swashbuckling: 25 articles
  3. Savage Arts & Sciences: 19 articles
  4. Creative Reckoning: 14 articles
  5. Decidedly 6-Sided: 13 articles

Grand Total: 126 articles

See you in 2023!
