Blogging Status Report: Mid-February 2026

Despite my prediction, I've had a roaring start into 2026 bloggingwise, and this February may be the most productive February I've had since 2013. This is mostly because I am participating in Barking Alien's RPG Campaign Tour Challenge. I intended to participate with two of my blogs, Applied Phantasticality and Decidedly 6-Sided, but that proved a wee bit too challenging. I am following through with the former and my Zem of Null campaign for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, and while I wasn't able to use my Ghostbusters campaign for the latter, I was inspired to post a new series of articles about using the Ghostbusters rules to create a quick and easy D6 Star Trek role-playing game: Star Trek via Ghostbusters.

I encourage everyone to read Barking Alien's RPG Campaign Tour Challenge 2026, especially if, like me, you have a soft spot for Original Star Trek.

Blogging Status Report: Very Late October 2024

Needless to say, I have been wandering through a blogging desert this month. My attention has been unwillingly diverted by a myriad concerns, and I have been deprived of the joy that playing, thinking about, and writing about games normally give me. I wish I could retire and focus on family, friends, hobbies, and personal projects. I still feel like a refugee from another world and time, struggling to understand how to interact with society at this temporal nexus point. Be that as it may, I will attempt to write and post six articles within the next two days. I can't vouch for their quality (as I haven't even written them yet), and I can't guarantee I'll meet my quota, but I shall try. I offer my apologies in advance.

Blogging Status Report: Early June 2022

Although I am writing this on the 6th, I met my monthly blogging goal on the 4th, which might be a new record. Well, it is a new record since my gaming blogs increased to five. In fact, four of the articles were all written and posted on the same day (the 4th), whilst the article for Theoretical Swashbuckling was written in late May and posted on the 1st of June. It's a great start. My top priority is to post two articles to Decidedly Six-Sided, which were the result of a poll. After that, I intend to post some new and old movie reviews of a Musketeer nature in Theoretical Swashbuckling. After that, we shall see. Blogging Status Report: Early March 2022

It's the 6th of March and I've already met this month's goal for all of my gaming blogs. I'm so far ahead of schedule I just might fit in some time to work on the game I've been designing and write another Ghostbusters RPG adventure for my gaming group and start writing and illustrating some zines I want to publish. Meanwhile, I'll keep blogging for my several readers and an unknown number of bots. (I would be happier if they were actual science fiction robots.)
