The Year of Our Folly 2025 was as disappointing as I suspected it would be. This year's blogging total fell by 61 articles for a "grand" total of 95 articles. Applied Phantasticality decreased by 14, Decidedly 6-Sided decreased by four, Theoretical Swashbuckling decreased by five, Creative Reckoning decreased by eight, Savage Arts & Sciences decreased by 28, and Omnia Pro Omnibus decreased by two. Granted, my nonbinding overall goal is 60 articles per year, but my hope for at least 12 articles per blog per year was dashed for a variety of reasons I would like to forget.
As with last year, the annual blogging goal remains on hold. Who knows if blogs will even exist by the end of the year? Before long, we may be resorting to printing presses and messages in bottles if history continues on this path. Let's try to avoid it.
